Before I blog about Chingay, I must mention about the stupid bug that cost my sleep last night! Was happily sleeping when the bug invaded my room and since 3am, I've been busy scratching (went to bed @ abt 1am only!) until I on my lights @ 4 & to my horror my fingers were ALL swollen. PIG TROTTERS YOU KNOW!

Swollen red itchy and painful and I couldn't get to sleep anymore.
....
The identity of the bug is still unknown. I WANT TO EXTERMINATE ITS CLAN!!/

Have been going to RJC every saturday for Chingay training which I think is hardly of any relevance to the actual event haha.

So on the 15th& 16th, we headed down to Padang for the preview& actual event itself. It was totally screwed up on Friday, for no reason they refused to release us and want us to remain in position when there is nobody already. That was like 11 plus pm, with us feeling all hungry and worried over the last train and finally @ 12 plus am, we were released -.-

BUT anyway, it was super fun and cool on Sat!! Our area has no crowd to control and we were like more of entertainers! We blew whistle to create atmosphere, clapped, cheered and Hi-5ed with the performers! Then we even went on a parade along the entire street doing cheers. The ang mohs were like so entertained by us!

It was a great experience overall, and I like my group hoho! All super fun- loving and on.

It's just like a Children's Day! Chocolates, sweets and balloons. Population of balloons more than the humans inside the audi can, just kidding hahaha. Just to state a point that there are MANY balloons. Thank you everybody, I just love this day!!!!! :D:D

Just lost a friend to illness some time ago, and on this day my another friend was admitted to hospital. Don't you feel that many young people have been leaving this world? From the 5 dragonboaters, to the car accidents, to my friend to my sis's friend's cousin's ex gf who passed away 1 day before Valentine's day. These are just some cases that I knew of, so the cliche thing again, treasure your life and people around you!

Went to watch KungFu Dunk thereafter, hilarious! But I still prefer my CJ 7 leh haha :D Upon reaching home, I realised my angbao is gone!! And the funny thing is, Gian Hui's angbao's missing too haha!

1st I saw Jasmine, IN DRESS. Our dear tomboy has turned gu niangish! 2nd, Phua Huiying in her LOW CUT TOP AND HOT PANTS. wooo, the all time baggy -tees-& -home -shorts girls turned into attractive girls can!
Had 2 Sevens & was joking about getting another one casually & true enough, it came!! But I gave Sherlin the banker student rate, u say kind or not haha!

2008 is a bad year for the horses, rabbits, rats & 1 more don't know what and mummy heard from somewhere that wearing GREEN on Chu Yi will put everything right sooooo my sis (rabbit) & I were looking like walking grasslands, right from the 1st moment of Chu Yi cause we purposely changed into green pyjamas hehe. Super ugly, serious, but who cares more than getting rid of all bad luck haha!

Just like last year, we saw so many sets of fireworks when the clock struck 12, like those we see on countdowns in SG, and they are all JUST ABOVE OUR HEADS hahaha, pretty lah!! Somemore my M'sia neighbour put "Da pao", so deafening!

I think this is why Malaysia has got more "New Year feel" :D

FANTASTIC show I must say, so super funny and touching but I still prefer SG's cinema, I'm serious!! Cause they don't clean up after each show, there's an unbearable significant stench but the show is great enough to neutralise it haha! So we went back & went so and so about how great the show was and my papa was tempted to watch and he came back with a super disappointed face

Really love the applause when everything ended, our hard work paid off! While waiting for the finale item, we went to the multipurpose hall & saw the interact clubbers in their super gay costumes and we were more amused to see Jeffrey in that haha!
